Class Project--Bamboo Forest

So here is a picture of it so far. It measures about 4x7 feet and will be displayed downstairs at the Pannikin when completed. You may need to click on the image to see the detail a little better. This is what is looks like before we add all the shadows and detail. Our goal is to have it feel very soft and zen like, so we will be applying the darker tones very lightly at first. We don't want it to become too intricate and busy looking. We're(Carol, Francesca and I) going for a very peaceful and sleepy painting. Enjoy, Karin
