Be Merry!

Honestly, I wish Christmas was a celebration of twinkle lights, vintage ornaments and glittery snow castles. I don't even care much for the gifting part (unless they're handmade of course). I'd much rather enjoy the company of good friends, family, food and driving around looking at christmas lights.

My little nephew Ethan came over this morning and helped me clean the house so I could put my tree up today. Is he the cutest or what? He cracks me up.

  1. Oh, Yes! I will joyfully celebrate twinkling, shiny, sparkly things with you! In fact, I'll put on a shimmery dress, some glitter (who am I kidding- a lot of glitter) and toast your wonderful idea with a glass of sparkling wine!

Additionally, I will toast getting someone else to do your vacuuming. You really are a genius.

  2. I love walking about at night with my kids watching all the xmas lights, they love it too! I'm not keen on the actual Christmas day though, more effort and money than it is worth ;)

  3. 100% agree ~ the best bits of the season are the eating together and enjoying the atmosphere the lights and decorations exude. & that people seem so much happier :)
