The perfect rainy day project

With all the rain we've had lately, I'm starting to get cabin fever. It really helps to have something to do. These are some rubber stamps I carved and then glued onto lino blocks for extra support. All you need are some carving tools, the staedtler master carve block, and an ink pad. You can find all these supplies at Dick Blick. These carving blocks are actually erasers that "carve like butter" just like the label says.

Hope you all have a great weekend. Karin

  2. Oh, that looks like so much fun! I have a block and carving tools too, but never busted them out.

Hope to see more of what you do with this!

  3. That does look like a lot of fun! It made me recall the vinyl print I made when I did Art & Design at school. First we carved the print (mine was butterflies) then we printed it over tissue papers etc that we'd stuck down randomly. I think I still have the results somewhere.... :)
