My nephew stayed around after art class today to help me garden. We made a lot of starter succulents with all the cuttings we gathered around the property. He pulled this large spear out of the yard waste. They are those things that fall out of queen palms. It made a great boat planter don't you think? Would it be crazy to use this for a centerpiece this Thanksgiving? We'll see if it holds up.

ReplyDeleteThe succulent boat is very nice. My cacti have been growing like crazy this year and need potting up again. I was thinking of heading to the garden center, but maybe I should try be a little more creative!
